Brass' worked with a trusted contractor to ensure the delivery of the new library wing (out of hours/ non term time) to a defined budget.
The works included full demolishment of existing fabric, strip out, insertion of new infrastructure and full decoration.
The return space is simple; a tiered stage allows for voluminous book storage plus performance and seating, with main floor area designed to suit client brief.
Our design promotes full user ownership; moving parts (literally) that are pushed and pulled (design assets on wheels) to allow the space to adapt as desired.
Brass' sought a master joiner to provide and installl fixed furniture items (principally, the tiered stage) that is the focal point of the space.
Brass team members dressed the space to return the final space for handover - ensuring all brief particulars were met.
