Brass Architecture were shortlisted and in turn appointed in late 2020 for the upgrades of a large library space at the prestigious St Michaels Primary School in Highgate, North London.
Works included the full refreshment of the space stripping away tired 1980’s installations.
Our design includes tiered assembly stage, reading zones, IT hub and ample storage (a key requirement of the brief). Stakeholders, teachers, parents, and student body were engaged throughout to ensure the new space delivered for all. Our base concept is quite simple, utilising the school motif colours as the base aesthetic for the space.
