Substantial Air Space Development.

The remodel of a post-war building asset!

Our portfolio of existing buildings (former office buildings, warehouses, tiring post war architectural assets) continues to grow. Air Space opportunities is a key consideration on such projects.

The existing building has 40 residential units in-situ, and our proposals seek to rejuvenate the building facades whilst extending at upper levels.

Our client, looking to uplift the site aesthetics whilst adding new residential units - trusted our team to develop as required.

The final returns include the addition of 12no. new residential units including 2 no. super prime upper units with views to all directions (London, Kent, Wider Counties).

The returns at the site are varied in size and return key unit numbers concur with LPA housing targets.

The applications were submitted, stakeholder meetings concluded, and final submissions approved via committee.

Brass team members presented the scheme to committee MP’s and the associative vote agreed that the scheme is of value and in turn consented (unanimously).

Again, like many of our projects – we were not shy in challenging the LPA directives and view points.

We acknowledge that robust, comprehensive documentation directly addressing LPA and other parties’ concerns is the most productive approach on 'contentious' schemes.

Our success rate (number of consents) showcases our methodology works.
